people should know better than to let us stay by ourselves

wow i've had a lot of adventures since i last wrote. well not really adventures to normal people, but for me. i've been staying at my friend's house since last friday because her parents are out of town and well, i have to be her bodyguard of course. man we heard a noise and she started freaking out so of course she made me freak out. it was actually really sad because she was debating on whether or not to call 911(which isn't as bad as it sounds b/c her grandma who has weird hours but has been staying with us sometimes works answering the phone) anyway i eventually convinced her not to. i figured it couldn't be that bad because her dog wasn't going crazy so i decided to be the brave one (oh because i am) and go check it out first. well we couldn't find anything so finally we decided we should go check her room/bathroom to make sure everything in there was ok. it turned out that the shower curtain had fallen down and that's what we heard. getting scared over a shower curtain...jeez. i can't believe i just told that story but to me it was amusing.

on tuesday we went to eat lunch w/ derrick (the red herring) and later ended up going over to noah's to watch donnie darko. oh god doesn't anyone know what a red herring is? ha well it's a guy that you pretend to like in order to get another guy's attention. so he's my friend's red herring. ah don't worry it's not a serious thing b/c that never works anyway we just think it's funny. it's from the georgia books "angus, thongs, and full-frontal snogging", etc. i think it's in the second or third book but it's hilarious. wow as if you didn't think i was weird enough already. anyway, the whole lunch at mcdonald's thing was...interesting to say the least. man that boy can talk. i guess that's good sometimes though b/c there wasn't the awkward silence. i didn't think shelby would want to go to noah's considering at one point, which i thought was still now, she said she hated him. well i guess she figured it was worth it for the donnie darko. sad..using him for his movies. well i'm not err but she is. haha we invited ourselves over, too. what nice friends we are. oh my mom called while we were over there too and i didn't feel like coming up with some lie so i just told her that we were at noah's (which i didn't think was that big of a deal considering his mom was there and so was shelby). oh but i was wrong she keeps acting all weird and concerned whenever i go somewhere now. i guess she assumed i was over there being a whore or something...because yes everyone knows how i always have sex with guys while my friend and their mom have a nice chat in the other room. my dad said she's probably just worried that i'm doing the same stuff she was doing when she was my age which is probably right. ew ew ew.

k well i've decided i'm not going to waste time on the other so-called adventures because they're all pointless anyway. oh but jacob's ladder is a good movie. it was a little odd but ended up being really good. i've seen 5 movies in the last...i think 4 days. hearts in atlantis was good too but the book is so much better because they left a lot of stuff out of the movie. now that you have my expert opinion i guess i'll go. this was a long, boring, absurd entry. well it's my diary so i can write boring things if i want to. bye
